We stayed in a double sweetroom on the second floor and enjoyed the comfortable bed and controllable temperature. There is a reasonable amount of hanging space, and some storage areas. The shower/bathroom was small but well planned with a large enough shower and a good mirror. The only drawback with the shower room was the step up into it and down out of it, but this is explained because the shower rooms are prebuilt and are craned in as the hotel is built. The Flat screen tv was a good size, but will not accept input from a DVD player and I could not "cast" my phone to it. There are no instructions or guides on how to do anything with the TV. Add to this the small number of available channels, and it is understandable if people are streaming on their own phones! Having said this, the room was comfortable and the housekeeping exceptional. Location great. Staff helpful. Late checkout 12 noon - great. Try the Revolution de Cuba just across the road, noisy but good food and great Zombie cocktails!

The staff was able to make my family that doesn't speak english welcome , they were super helpful and made them really happy . The check-in and check out system really surprised me by how simple and quick it was , no queues or waiting times , just drop the keys in a box and go with your day Facilities were really good, and the location was great . Youre able to contact the staff via WhatsApp if you need anything . Overall im really happy ive choose this place . Also my bank account is still happy and running so i guessing the price is fair ;)

The staff was kind, very fast check in and check out. There was WiFi, not the best that you can find but if you just want browsing and not requiring heavy load it's sufficient. The breakfast was quite good, again not the best but good variety and good working hours. The thing I liked the most was that the room was really quiet, as I needed to study and have a good night's sleep. Quite decent for short term business trip. And it's only 3 minutes from the station, with lots of restaurants around.

I only stayed for one night and that was effectively a short stopover en route to my planned destination. The location was key - close to Reading railway station for an early start the next day. It’s only 5 mins walk to the station. Although it was a Friday night I didn’t notice any noise from nearby pubs and restaurants. There were a few late night shops to grab odd things for the next day - pretty much next door and opposite.

The Ibis is ideally situated for Reading railway station, it's about a 5 minute walk away. It's also close to all major bus stops and only a short walk to the Oracle and town centre. There is a good selection of pubs and restaurants around. Our room was clean and comfortable with a good sized ensuite. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast buffet was all good quality and a reasonable price.
